Do's and Don'ts
Do's
- Make sure you're visiting during visiting hours and respect visiting hours and mealtimes
- Children below 14 years should not be encouraged to visit the hospital.
- Observe and follow the signs, notices, and precautions in and around the hospital.
- Keep your voice down and phone on silent mode while in earmarked zones.
- Old smoke clings to clothes too, so wash them before visiting. TMH facilities are no-smoking zones.
- Excuse yourself when the doctor enters the ward and do not visit the patient unless requested to stay.
- Stay for a short time as prescribed in the notice.
- If you want to know about the condition of the patient in detail, you can consult the doctors at an appropriate time.

Park your vehicle only at designated parking places in and around the hospital.
- Follow the safety rules.
Don'ts
- Two-wheelers are not allowed in TMH except in emergency cases.
- Don't park your vehicle in non-designated areas.
- Don't break hospital rules or violate safety/security protocols, as it will be considered a breach of trust.
- Don't help the patient get out of bed, give food or drink, or administer any sedative without approval from the treating doctors.
- Don't talk or laugh loudly, as it may disturb the silence of the hospital and other patients.
- Don't stay with the patient while the doctor's consultation with the patient is in progress.
- Don't touch any type of equipment or sit on the patient's bed.
- Don't spread rubbish, etc., in the wards, cabins, or anywhere else, or spill any form of liquid on the floor.
- Don't use plastic carry bags.
- Don't indulge in unnecessary arguments with the doctors, nurses, or other staff.
